September 15 to October 15 is a special time set aside to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month.

We’re proud to honor the contributions of these rich cultures in our city, school district and classrooms. With 73 percent of our students identifying as Hispanic, this is an opportunity to recognize the history and traditions so many of our families hold dear.

Throughout the month, schools will host celebratory events and activities, including food tastings, student performances, art displays, curriculum design and more.
