At the May board meeting, the Irving ISD Board of Trustees approved a one-time retention payment of $750 for returning staff and an incentive payment of $750 for new hires.
“Irving ISD is extremely grateful for the Board of Trustees and their dedication to compensating our employees,” says Superintendent of Schools Magda Hernandez. “I would also like to thank our incredible staff. We appreciate their passion, time and dedication to our students. They are very deserving of this recognition.”
The retention and incentive payment will be issued as a separate check from the employee’s regular paycheck by October 28, 2022.
