Beginning March 1, Irving ISD families can take advantage of several opportunities for new and current students:
(1) PreK Pre-Registration
Give your child a jumpstart with PreK! Irving ISD offers free full-day PreK for 4-year-olds who qualify, a full-day tuition-based program for 4-year-olds, and a free half-day option for qualifying 3-year-olds. Online pre-registration for families will open March 1 at www.IrvingISD.net/PreK.
(2) In-District Transfer Requests
Current students wishing to attend a district school outside of their attendance zone may request an In-District Transfer beginning March 1. Transfers are based on availability and considered on a first come, first served basis. Please note, transportation is not provided for transfer students. (3) Dual Language Program
Give your child the opportunity to read, write and speak in two languages with Irving ISD’s two-way dual language program.
