The Singley Academy Law Enforcement Advisory Board is proud to announce that the Irving Police Department’s David Paris Memorial Scholarship has raised enough money to become an endowed scholarship. As an endowed scholarship, a $1,000 scholarship will be awarded each year to a Singley Law Enforcement student.

The scholarship was created by the Advisory Board through Irving Schools Foundation in January 2018.  The scholarship is awarded to a Singley Academy student enrolled in the Law Enforcement program who plans to pursue a career in the criminal justice field.  To date, two $1,000 scholarships have been awarded.

The Board is grateful to all those who donated to the scholarship fund and to the support of the Irving Police Department. Due to the generous donations and support, the Board was able to raise enough money to endow the scholarship in less than two years.
