Dallas County Promise’s first deadline is coming fast. Seniors interested in receiving FREE college tuition need to complete the Promise Pledge by this Friday, February 7.

Through Dallas County Promise, students will:

  • Receive tuition assistance at one of 11 Dallas County Promise partner colleges and universities
  • Be matched with a Success Coach to help students plan for their future
  • Earn their bachelor’s degree completely covered through a Dallas County partner university.

It’s a win-win for students and the educational community.

Students who have not yet signed the pledge should visit DallasCountyPromise.org and click “The Pledge” button to secure a spot.

Students who have already signed the pledge can knock out the second deadline of March 6 by submitting their FAFSA/TASFA application.

To make the process easier, Irving ISD is hosting a FASFA/TASFA Night on Tuesday, February 11, at 5 p.m. at the Irving ISD Administration Building (2621 W. Airport Freeway, Irving). School counselors and college coaches will be on hand to help. Families are asked to bring their 2018 tax documents.

For more information about Dallas County Promise, students can talk with the College, Career and Military Readiness Coach located at each high school campus or by visiting DallasCountyPromise.org
