The talent and creativity of Irving ISD fourth graders were on full display at City Hall as part of the City of Irving Disability Awareness poster contest. This event invites students to creatively demonstrate how individuals with disabilities can leverage their strengths and abilities to participate actively in the community. The city showcased the talented artists during the October 2 city council meeting, where Mayor Rick Stopfer acknowledged their efforts. The winning posters will be exhibited at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in honor of October’s Disability Awareness Month.
