Seven Irving ISD Destination Imagination teams advanced to the 2025 Lone Star Finals, to be held on March 29 at the University of Texas at Arlington. Of the seven Competitive Challenge Teams that placed, two of them also advanced in the Extreme Challenge category.

In addition, three students were awarded the Mid-Cities Creativity Impact Scholarship worth $1,000, and one student was awarded an honorable mention with a $500 scholarship. This scholarship recognizes scholars who demonstrate exceptional creativity and innovation.
