Irving ISD provides high school students with the equipment and connectivity they need to complete their schoolwork from home, thanks to a generous partnership with Sprint. Students from Irving, MacArthur and Nimitz high schools, Singley Academy and Cardwell Career Preparatory Center will receive a free smartphone and 10GB of high-speed LTE data per month while in high school as part of the 1Million Project.

During the course of the five-year program, up to one million high schoolers who lack internet access at home will join the 1Million Project, helping to level the playing field and eliminate the “homework gap.” Irving ISD high schools are among the 1,300 schools across 32 states to participate in this initiative.

Incoming 9th graders and any high school student can sign up today at http://www.irvingisd.net/stayconnected.
