Irving ISD is proud to recognize 10 high school seniors as semifinalists for the prestigious Dell Scholar designation. The semifinalists had to meet a number of criteria for consideration, including participation in a college-readiness program, a 2.4 or higher GPA, need for financial aid, full-time college enrollment, eligibility for the Pell Grant and to be on track for graduation..

These students will now vie to become a Dell Scholar finalist. Thanks to the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation, finalists will receive a $20,000 college scholarship, a laptop, money for books and wrap-around services including mental health, academic counseling and other educational resources.
