Three girls’ relay teams from Irving ISD qualified for Regionals after winning medals at the District Swim Meet on January 27.
From Irving, the quartet of Alissa Videla, Alayna Sittig, Rocio Castrejon and Ibizaki Quintero earned regional bids in the 200-Yard Freestyle Relay and the 400-Yard Freestyle Relay.
The Nimitz relay team of Vania Lezama, Ryleigh Moyer, Roselyn Guerrero and Gabriela Alvarado also advanced in the 200-Yard Freestyle Relay.
The teams will compete at the Regional Swim Meet on February 9 and 10, at the Lewisville ISD Aquatic Center.
