Naomi De La Torre wakes by 7 a.m. most days.
She then rouses her younger brother and sister, makes them a breakfast of eggs or pancakes and helps them log into virtual school from their living room.
For the next few hours, De La Torre helps her siblings navigate instruction while juggling her own honors schedule, which includes Advanced Placement English, Advanced Placement calculus and African-American studies.
