Irving ISD and the YMCA are teaming up again to offer the Y’s after-school program to ALL elementary and middle schools.

The after-school program is available to Irving ISD students who choose in-person learning, Monday through Friday from school dismissal until 6:30 p.m. at a cost of $25 per week, per child with a $60 supply fee. Early dismissal days are included at no additional charge.

The $25 fee will include a healthy snack, homework assistance and fun activities, all with trained staff.

The program will be launched alongside the district’s in-person learning begins. Each school must have 23 students registered to maintain the program at the school.

The district, in partnership with the YMCA, will implement protocols to ensure the health and safety of all students and staff. Safety protocols are as follows:

  • Required to wear face masks by students and staff
  • Maintain social distancing
  • Frequent hand washing
  • Sanitization of supplies and materials
  • Temperature checks
  • Parents will not be allowed in the school building

Registration is online. To register online, visit www.ymcadallas.org/afterschool and search for your child’s campus location by city and school name. A debit or credit card is required on file as campuses will not accept payments.
