Irving ISD has been a blessing in disguise. I am incredibly proud and honored to be a student at one of its high school. Dreaming BIG has always been something I’ve thought of, but I never thought it was achievable.
Thanks to the support of my teachers, counselor and other school and district professionals, I was able to find programs such as QuestBridge, which led me to be 1 of the 2,855 students that were offered admission to Duke University.
As stressful as my senior year of high school was, it was undoubtedly made more manageable by the immense support, love and care I received from Irving ISD.
