Irving ISD is excited to announce that the Board of Trustees approved a retention incentive for returning full-time employees and a signing bonus for full-time new hires. Employees who meet the eligibility requirements will receive the one-time payment of $2,000 by the end of October. See below for eligibility criteria.
Retention Incentive Eligibility for Current Full-Time Employees
- Returning full-time employees who remain employed by Irving ISD and are TRS eligible on or prior to June 30, 2023.
- Must be full-time.
- Must be an active contributor to the TRS retirement system.
- Must have signed a Letter of Assurance or Contract for the 2023-2024 School Year.
- Must not have submitted a notice of intent to separate from employment with Irving ISD.
Signing Bonus Eligibility for Full-Time New Hires
- Must be hired by August 14, 2023.
- Must be full-time.
- Must be TRS eligible.
- Must have signed a Letter of Assurance or Contract for the 2023-2024 school year.
- Must not have submitted a notice of intent to separate from employment with Irving ISD.
Please note:
- Retirees are not eligible for the payment.
- The retention incentive and signing bonuses are not TRS-eligible compensation.
