Thirty-two students will represent Irving ISD at the state Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE) competition, to be held February 28 through March 1, 2024 in Round Rock. TAFE is an organization created for students to explore the teaching profession. Competitions consist of various education-related contests such as children’s literature (where students write and illustrate a book) and public speaking.
