Irving ISD is excited to announce that the Board of Trustees approved a retention incentive for returning full-time employees and a signing bonus for full-time new hires. Employees who meet the eligibility requirements will receive the one-time payment of $2,000 by the end of October. See below for eligibility criteria.

 

Retention Incentive Eligibility for Current Full-Time Employees

  • Returning full-time employees who remain employed by Irving ISD and are TRS eligible on or prior to June 30, 2023.
  • Must be full-time.
  • Must be an active contributor to the TRS retirement system.
  • Must have signed a Letter of Assurance or Contract for the 2023-2024 School Year.
  • Must not have submitted a notice of intent to separate from employment with Irving ISD.

Signing Bonus Eligibility for Full-Time New Hires

  • Must be hired by August 14, 2023.
  • Must be full-time.
  • Must be TRS eligible.
  • Must have signed a Letter of Assurance or Contract for the 2023-2024 school year.
  • Must not have submitted a notice of intent to separate from employment with Irving ISD.

Please note:

  • Retirees are not eligible for the payment.
  • The retention incentive and signing bonuses are not TRS-eligible compensation.
