Irving ISD is proud to announce the six 2023-2024 District Teacher of the Year finalists. The finalists are composed of three campus teachers of the year from the elementary level and three from the secondary level.
2023-2024 Elementary District Teacher of the Year Finalists
Randee Babb – Thomas Haley Elementary School
Maresa Martinez – Lively Elementary School
Nuvia Ramos – Davis Elementary School
2023-2024 Secondary District Teacher of the Year Finalists
FoJulia O’Neal – de Zavala Middle School
Theresa Spencer – Cardwell Career Preparatory Center
Demond Spiller – Nimitz High School
Two District Teacher of the Year winners – one for elementary and one for secondary – will be announced at the Teacher of the Year Celebration on Thursday, April 27, at Irving High School. The program begins at 6:30 PM.
